“I caught public transport only. I got rid of extra lightbulbs. I baked my own bread. I froze my own dumplings. I didn’t buy any gadget. I didn’t buy any CD. I didn’t get a flatscreen TV. No home phone; no home internet; no cable TV; no new art; no gin.” I want to live a much simpler life, but achieving simpleness can be somewhat complicated.

After all, most of our body heat is lost through our heads – or so we are led to believe…The myth is thought to have arisen through a flawed...

Separating the Terror and the Terrorists - Op-Ed -... →
It seems simple to me- when someone tries to spread terror by violent acts against civilians, it is terrorism.  That the New York Times won’t call terrorism what it is, is amazing.  It seems they believe it is wrong use a word with a negative connotation even to describe people who murder innocents.

Want more money? 15 jobs that pay $60,000 →
I was very surprised to see Architects as number 2.  I think that the numbers have drastically changed since they calculated these numbers.  These are probably from the 2006 Bureau of Labor Statistics survey, and things are much different now in 2008/2009. clint:
